In my opinion a movie should be regarded as good or bad based on movie criteria. You cannot say this movie is bad because the makers went and did something other than just reading the book to you… on screen. So the adaptation added a bunch of stuff. That in itself doesn’t make it a bad movie. The movie was probably not made to make the book stand out. I thoroughly like the Grinch character and therefore I can stand all the extra stuff. I bet there’s no Jim Carrey in the book!

Cannot believe you actually meant to say that Bad Santa is bad movie. I guess you’re an optimist who wanders through life thinking: “hey, maybe something nice will happen”. (Louis CK). This movie provides you with an excellent reality check: why the **** would anything nice ever happen! (also Louis CK). The scene in the pool is H O T by the way, I think.

Our elf has been a pleasure for the grandchildren as well as the grown-ups. Even though he has to back to the North Pole to help Santa tommorrow night, he will be back at our home next year with even funnier things to do! He has become a big part of the Magic in Christmas! EVERYONE HAVE A MERRRRRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPPPY NEW YEAR!
